Discover the charm of the Catalan capital in a different way, pedalling between its most important monuments. You'll see works by Gaudi, the Triumphal Arch, the bullring, the basilica and much more from the saddle.
The tour starts in the centre, at the Jaume I metro stop. Having assigned a bike to each member of the tour we'll pedal in the direction of Born, Barcelona's most fashionable neighbourhood and one of great touristic interest, housing the Picasso museum, and Santa Maria del Mar Basilica: a medieval cathedral from the 14th century.
Just around the corner from this church, we can find Ciudadela Park, which we will pass through until we reach Barcelona's triumphal arch. During the tour we will make brief stops at points of interest to get to know about the Catalonian industrial revolution and its economic, historical, and social impact on the city.
Our tour on wheels continues along the Olympic Village to relive the 1992 Olympics and discover what these games meant for the development and fame of the city. And without losing our rhythm we'll head to Barcelona's most modernist area, admiring the major works of the celebrated Catalan artist Antonio Gaudí.
The tour then continues through la Barceloneta. There you will have the opportunity to pedal through the Olympic Port, Lichenstein's "Barcelona Head", and the monument to Cristopher Columbus. And following two and a half hours of exercise and tourism in equal parts, you will have passed through most of the emblematic sights in Barcelona in an unforgettable way: on two wheels!
