Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site Ticket

Catalan modernism goes beyond Gaudí. Booking this ticket, you'll get to know one of the great works of this architectural movement in Barcelona: the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site.

A masterpiece of the renowned architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, this iconic complex consists of a series of buildings surrounded by beautiful green spaces and connected by underground galleries.

The site is adorned with a blend of mosaics, polychrome tiles, domes and gardens, giving it a unique architectural beauty that led it to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

In fact, the complex was originally created to house a hospital in the early 20th century. During your visit to the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, you'll learn what it was like to work in a hospital in Barcelona in the 1920s as you make your way through the different spaces. You'll visit the Hypostyle Hall, the Sant Salvador Pavilion and the Sant Rafael Pavilion, which houses an exhibition on surgical practices.

And of course, you can't leave without visiting its beautiful gardens and enjoying a pleasant stroll among its plants and flowers - it'll come as no surprise why nature was an inspiration for modernist architects!

The tour ends at the Administration Pavilion, one of the most richly decorated spaces with stained glass windows, mosaics and sculptures - a sight you won't want to miss!
