Montserrat Full Day Trip
At 11 am on the day of the tour, we'll set off from Barcelona in the direction of the monastic complex of Montserrat, one of the artistic and monumental jewels of the Catalan mountain range. The journey takes just 60 minutes!
We'll begin our guided tour visiting the Royal Basilica of Montserrat. Pilgrims from across Europe and even the Renaissance genius Leonardo Da Vinci, all came to Montserrat in search of something.
As you hear the mysteries and legends surrounding this iconic landmark, you'll admire the principal works of the temple. Among them is the carving of the Virgin of Montserrat, "La Moreneta", the patron saint of Catalonia (visit not guaranteed).
We'll then meet back up and make our way to a typical Catalan farmhouse, where we'll enjoy a hearty lunch of local delicacies including a salad starter, a barbecue main course (vegetarian option available) and a dessert.
With renewed energy, we'll make the return journey to our original departure point in Barcelona, arriving around 6:30 pm.
