Excellent tour in general, there is a lot of walking but the good thing is that it is done in parts so as not to feel so heavy, plus you visit a lot of places in Montjuic I highly recommend it

Montjuïc Free Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Avinguda del Paral·lel (Paral-lel Avenue) to start walking towards the famous mountain in the heart of Barcelona. Let's start our free tour of Montjuïc!

First, we'll stroll through the gardens of Mossèn Costa i Llobera and Miramar, full of cacti and other plants. From these enclaves, we'll get a panoramic view of the coastline of the city and its port.

Then, we'll climb up the hills of Montjuïc via ramps and stairs. We'll talk about the importance of this mountain in the past while admiring the exterior of the castle, whose origins date back to the 17th century. Nearby is also the Jewish cemetery of Barcelona, a medieval cemetery declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest. We'll tell you all about its history!

Next, we'll fast forward in time and talk about the relevance of Montjuïc during the International Exhibition of 1929 and the Olympic Games of 1992. We'll visit the Greek amphitheater and walk through the Olympic ring to learn all its secrets.

Finally, after 3 hours of sightseeing, we'll say goodbye next to the National Art Museum of Catalonia.
