Joan Miró Foundation Ticket

Located in the heart of Montjuïc Park, the Joan Miró Foundation is an exhibition focused on the life and work of this famous Catalan artist. With this ticket you can see hundreds of his signature works and enjoy unforgettable views of Barcelona from the terraces of the museum. What more could you ask for?

The Joan Miró Foundation was conceived by the artist himself with the aim of creating in Barcelona an international point of reference where you can enjoy his work and continue researching contemporary art. 

The entrance to the Joan Miró Foundation will give you access to both the permanent and temporary exhibitions. You'll be able to see paintings, drawings, sculptures and tapestries. As well as seeing these works in the flesh, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about the works and the artist himself, thanks to the audio guide in English that you'll have available on your smartphone.

Landscape of Mont-Roig, The Passage of the Divine Bird, The White Glove, The Gold of the Azure or Personage in front of the Sun are some of the works by Miró that you'll be able to see during your visit. You'll also find paintings by other 20th and 21st century artists such as Max Ernst, Marcel Duchamp, André Masson or Antoni Tàpies. The artwork will blow you away!

Temporary exhibition

Until July 1, 2023, you can visit the temporary Imaginary Friends exhibition at the Fundació Joan Miró. You will be able to enter in an interactive way into the worlds of contemporary art, which will delight both adults and youngsters!

Opening hours

The opening hours of the Joan Miró Foundation are as follows:

  • Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm
  • Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm

Please note that you can visit at any time during the opening hours but the last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
