Catalonian History Museum Ticket

With your entrance ticket to the Catalonia History Museum, you'll visit a space designed to preserve, exhibit, and make known everything about Catalonian culture.

The collections of objects, documents, historical recreations, and audio-visual settings will take you through the history of the autonomous community in a fun and engaging way.

This entrance ticket gives you access to the permanent exhibition La memòria d'un país, divided into seven stages in Catalonian history. Throughout the tour, you'll experience historical moments from the Iberians to the Barcelona of the 1920s or the Civil War. It'll be a real journey through the main periods, cultures, events and characters that have shaped the history of Catalonia.

What's more, you can visit the temporary exhibitions and access the restaurant located on the roof. From there, you'll have incredible views of Port Vell, the city, and Montjuic, the hill that rises above the port of Barcelona.

Temporary exhibition

Until October 1, 2023, the museum will host the temporary exhibition Il-lustríssimes, dones que van dibuixar el segle XX, a collection of works by women illustrators linked to Catalonia.

Opening hours

The Museum of the History of Catalonia is open during the following hours:

• Tuesday to Saturday: from 10 am to 7 pm.
• Wednesday: from 10 am to 8 pm.
• Sundays and holidays: from 10 am to 2:30 pm.
